Placing a soccer player in a stadium full of screaming fans.

Houdini crowd simulation using Mixamo characters and animations. Utilized Houdini's procedural dependency graph workflow to iterate and cache twelve different agent definitions as well as clean up and prep geometry from Mixamo. 

Scene assembled in Solaris and rendered with Karma's XPU Engine. Comped in Adobe After Effects.

Attribute-Driven Shading Parameters

Use of MaterialX and VEX to give each agent a random color from a user-generated ramp. Mask were used to blend the chosen colors with the texture maps provided by Mixamo.
